Taking inspiration from a 17th century Turkish motif found in a Cooper-Hewitt Museum book of Oriental Rugs I bought from The Strand back when I was at Parsons, Wavy medallion was created by cutting & mixing images taken from two different paintings. The little dashes of the double stripe are the same ones used in wavy lines - lipstick making for a great companion piece!
